Natalia grew up on her family farm in western Iowa. She graduated from the University of Iowa, where she was also a member of the women’s rowing team.  She received her J.D. from the University of Iowa in 2003. Prior to joining Reynolds and Kenline in 2007, Natalia worked as a staff attorney at Iowa Legal Aid. She has presented continuing legal education on domestic violence for attorneys, members of the judiciary and the community. Natalia is passionate about seeking justice for injured, abused and harmed individuals.  She is also a certified mediator and enjoys helping people resolve their differences through alternative dispute resolution. 
She is an active member and board member of the Dubuque County Bar Association. She previously served as chairwoman of the Iowa State Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division Domestic Abuse Committee , is a member of the Iowa Supreme Court’s Task Force on Domestic Violence, past president of the Dubuque County Young Lawyer's Division and past board member of Dubuque County Empowerment. 
Natalia is married and has two children. Her husband, Robert Richter, is a Dubuque County Associate District Court Judge. They enjoy traveling, getting outdoors, and watching their children grow.
